Samantha has been out of the office this week attending YouthFest and the IAE4-YDP Professional Development Day! 🌱

These opportunities were filled with networking, professional growth, and collaboration with colleagues from across the state to bring new ideas and inspiration back to Greene County!

This year, Samantha also had the opportunity to present to fellow Extension staff about our summer project workshops and serve on the planning committee for the association’s professional development day. We’re always excited to learn, share ideas, and find new ways to serve our youth and community! 💚

🍀 Congratulations to our 2026 4-H T-Shirt Contest winner, Lee Holz! 💚

A big thank you to everyone who participated and showed off their Greene County 4-H pride during National 4-H Week! We loved seeing everyone represent 4-H.

🍀💚 THANK YOU, GREENE COUNTY! 💚🍀

As National 4-H Week comes to a close, we want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate and show off their 4-H pride this week!

From wearing your 4-H shirts and sharing photos to supporting our apparel store, purchasing yard signs, and sharing your WHY 4-H stories, our community has helped make this week so special! We love seeing the pride and excitement surrounding Greene County 4-H. 🌟

A special thank you to our amazing 4-H volunteers who helped facilitate club meetings, encouraged members to share their stories, and continue to make 4-H possible for our youth. Thank you to our Extension staff for joining in on the fun and showing your 4-H pride, our Greene County 4-H Foundation and supporters for investing in opportunities for youth, and our families, club leaders, alumni, community partners, and local businesses who support our program throughout the year.

Most importantly, thank you to our 4-H members! Your stories, enthusiasm, and willingness to try new things remind us why we do what we do. You are growing into the next generation of confident, capable, and caring leaders, and we are so proud to be part of your journey!

It takes an entire community to help young people become Beyond Ready, and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful community behind Greene County 4-H. While National 4-H Week may be over, we hope you'll continue sharing your 4-H pride all year long! 🍀

🍀 WHY 4-H? 🍀

We had a few more Greene County 4-H members who wanted to join in on our National 4-H Week fun but didn’t have time to share their answers during club meetings! 💚 So, we’re giving them a chance to be part of the celebration, too!

Check out these responses from members throughout Greene County as they share how 4-H has impacted them, what they’ve learned, and why they think others should join! 📸

We love hearing the many ways 4-H helps youth learn new skills, build confidence, make memories, and discover new opportunities. Every member has their own WHY 4-H story, and we’re excited to share more of them with our community! 🍀🌟

🔥 Sparks were flying at Career Camp last night! 🔥

Our 1st–3rd graders got an introduction to the world of welding! Youth learned about welding as a career, explored the welding room, watched a live welding demonstration, and then got to try some cracker welding of their own!

We love giving youth hands-on opportunities to explore different careers, discover new interests, and build skills for their future. Experiences like these help our youth become Beyond Ready!👏
