One more reminder for our talented kids! 🎹🎷🎤🤹‍♀️

There’s still time to join the Kid’s Talent Show at the CyHawk Tailgate on Thursday, September 10! Singing, dancing, playing an instrument, or something completely different, we’d love to see what our young performers (up to age 18!) can do on the Plaza Stage.

Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, September 8 so we have time to organize the lineup and plan for any equipment needed for each performance. If your kiddo wants to take the stage, make sure to get them signed up!

A well-deserved recognition for an incredible Jefferson project! 👏

Congratulations to Why Not Us on receiving the 2026 Community Enhancement through Historic Vitalization Award from the Iowa Architectural Foundation! 👏 What started as a big challenge turned into a beautiful building downtown that continues to make an impact today. Congratulations to Why Not Us and everyone who had a hand in making this happen! ❤️

Mark your calendar for October 4 at 4:00 PM for the Centennial Block’s 150th Celebration! This celebration will include a fun reenactment of historical figures connected to the building through the years.

Who’s got the best-dressed little fan in Jefferson? ❤💛🖤

We’re almost one week away from the CyHawk Tailgate, and there’s still time to sign up for our Best Dressed Baby & Toddler Contest! Dress your little Hawkeye or Cyclone fan in their best game day gear and meet us at the Plaza Stage on Thursday, September 10.

The contest is open to ages 0–3 and will begin around 5:30 PM, following the food-eating contest. Registration is free, and signing up ahead of time is encouraged!
