🎄 Help make the holidays brighter for children in Jefferson County! 🎁

Throughout November, Lake Mills Market is supporting Jefferson County Shop with a Cop through its Round Up at the Register campaign. When you check out, simply round up your purchase—every contribution will help fund December’s shopping event for local children experiencing financial hardship.

Shop with a Cop is about more than gifts. It builds positive connections between children and local law enforcement while reminding families that their community cares.

Every little bit adds up. Thank you, Lake Mills Market, and thank you to everyone who rounds up! 💙👮‍♂️

A Heartfelt Thank You ❤️

We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the Randy Schopen Memorial Foundation for their incredibly generous donation to our Shop with a Cop program.

This program gives local children the opportunity to spend time with our deputies and officers, enjoy some holiday shopping, and experience the positive connection between law enforcement and the community we serve. Donations like this make those special moments possible.

Your generosity will help us create memories that these kids—and our deputies and officers will carry with them for years to come. We are truly grateful for your support of our community and for helping make Shop with a Cop such a meaningful program.

Thank you for believing in our kids, our deputies and officers, and the power of giving back. ❤️👮‍♂️🎁

On Saturday, we held our annual Shop with a Cop of Jefferson County shopping event. Officers and Deputies from across Jefferson County spent the day shopping alongside kids from our community. This year, 38 children were able to participate.

We kicked off the day by meeting Santa, pairing each child with an officer, and taking group photos. Each child was given a budget to purchase items and toys—not only for themselves, but also for their family members. It’s always heartwarming to watch how much thought and care the kids put into choosing gifts for their parents, siblings, and loved ones.

Once shopping was complete, the kids rode the bus to the VFW, where they wrapped their presents while enjoying snacks and pizza.

A special thank you goes out to Amanda, our bus driver from Dousman Transportation, Kwik Trip of Jefferson, Walmart of Jefferson, The VFW, Brock Whiting Photography, and all the community members and local businesses whose generous donations helped make this special day possible.
