All of these are completed cat beds that will soon be heading out for distribution in the greater Jefferson County area. I made a mistake with the shelter I was sewing for in failing to realize they're in foster homes, not cages, so I had to change things up a bit. All the kitties have warm beds but those in cages get a thicker padding to keep them warmer because of the stainless steel always being cold.

This is 26 but I have 3 more upstairs and 15 needing padding and closure so I'll turn out the next 24 quickly and hope to drop off 50 to two Whitewater rescues in the coming days. My first batch when to HSJC.

Jack is in charge of quality assurance, as always.

I wish I had done better photos but that's okay. This was the first 22 cat beds of 2023 in memory of Oblio. They were delivered in January. February was a hair busy here but I'm getting caught up.

For those who don't know Oblio, this is her. Oblio was a completely blind, majestic, grey kitten that joined our family on May 4, 2022. Never could I have imagined she'd leave us on November 4, 2022 at just 7 months old.

Here you'll hear stories about Oblio, learn about my mission and why soft cat beds for every kitty is so important to me, and a little bit about Feline Infectious Peritonitis which was the disease that stole her from us.

This page also serves as a contact point for anyone hoping to make donations of materials or supplies to further my mission to make as many cat beds as I can. Oblio loved everything soft and every kitty deserves a warm and soft bed to sleep on.

Hey Oblio - your brothers have made sure to help and personally test and inspect every single cat bed I make. We miss you down here on earth but so long as I'm sewing for kitties like you, I'll be okay. I'm going to sew for you until I sew up the hole in my heart ❤️
