Men’s Health Week | Day 4: Family History Matters 💙

Some health risks, including certain cancers, can run in families. Knowing your family history and sharing it with your provider can help guide screening decisions and support earlier action.

Encourage the men in your life to ask questions, know their history, and take charge of their health.

Jefferson County Cancer Coalition is proud to support all cancers in our community.

Men’s Health Week | Day 3: Healthy Habits Matter 💙

Small daily choices can make a big difference. Staying active, eating well, getting enough sleep, managing stress, and keeping up with routine care all support long-term health.

Encourage the men in your life to take one small step today for a healthier tomorrow.

Jefferson County Cancer Coalition is proud to support all cancers in our community.

Men’s Health Week | Day 2: Know Your Numbers 💙

Blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar matter more than many men realize. High blood pressure often has no symptoms, high cholesterol can increase heart disease risk, and blood sugar screening can help catch diabetes or prediabetes early.

A quick checkup can go a long way. Encourage the men in your life to ask about routine screenings and stay on top of their health.

Jefferson County Cancer Coalition is proud to support all cancers in our community.

Real strength is getting checked. 💙

This Men’s Health Week, we encourage the men in our lives to schedule the appointment, ask the question, and stay on top of recommended screenings.

Cancer prevention and early detection matter. A quick checkup, a conversation with your provider, or following through on a screening could make all the difference.

To the dads, husbands, brothers, sons, friends, coworkers, and neighbors — taking care of your health is not weakness. It is strength.

Jefferson County Cancer Coalition is proud to support all cancers in our community.

Happy Flag Day 🇺🇸

Today we honor the flag and the values it represents — unity, service, hope, and community.

At Jefferson County Cancer Coalition, those values are at the heart of what we do. We believe in neighbors helping neighbors, communities showing up for one another, and making sure those impacted by cancer feel supported close to home.

This Flag Day, we are grateful for the people who serve, volunteer, donate, advocate, and care for others in our community.
