K9 Moose Tracks

K9 Moose Tracks K9 Moose is a Jefferson County Police Officer Support Team (P.O.S.T.) Therapy Dog. Moose is a Labradoodle. was started in 2019 by Vanessa (Vanna) and Jay Leonard.

Moose was born 05/24/2024 and is in training to become a ceritified Therapy Dog for First responders. The Jefferson County Police Officer Support Team (P.O.S.T.) K9 Moose was added to the team to be used for Therapy Work with First Responders and Commmunity Members. Moose will begin his training on July 25, 2024 to become a certified Therapy Dog. Moose will be out and about in the community to meet people.

I started my day greeting students at the Johnson Creek School District before school started. At one point I think the whole middle school was trying to pet and hug me at once. Then I took a nap in the squad. We stopped for a visit at The View. I slept in the squad again. We stopped at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office about a case. Later I met three people that were visiting from Australia. Maybe I have some followers in Australia now. Not Alone. 🐾
