Our hard working Jefferson Rotary Club Members love seeing the results of our fundraisers by assisting Amazing Jefferson High School seniors continue their secondary education! This year Rotarian Theresa Beck presented each these students a $2500 scholarship! Congratulations to Hannah Werning, Jayden Ridgeman, Abby Ostopowicz, Adam Nobling, Johannah Kraus and Madeline Dehnert! We can’t wait to have you visit our club and share your success in the future!

Thank you to the Jefferson area community who continue to support our fundraising efforts. We couldn’t have given out over $350,000 in scholarships over these years without you all!

Yesterday at our noon meeting we had the honor of recognizing Jefferson Area Top 10% 8th Graders and their families! We thank Dr. Unrness our Jefferson School Superintendent and Jefferson Rotary President, Matt Matteson, Jefferson Middle School Principal and Mike Howard, West Elementary Principal who graciously volunteered as our as speaker. We thank you all for making our Top 10% Lunvheons so special! (From Mike Howard's speech...E+R=O...Events plus Reaction equals Outcome).

Today, Jefferson Rotary Club held a catered Luncheon for the Top 10% of the Jefferson High School Seniors and their parents and grandparents. We’re so happy to once again be able to recognize their efforts. Our Speaker was Jefferson Rotarian extraordinaire, Janet Werner. She is the Best example of how Volunteering through Rotary (and other organizations) is a rewarding way to give back! Janet truly lives Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”.

Thank you to Dr. Charles Urness, Jefferson Superintendent and Jefferson Rotary President and Mr. Nick Skretta, Jefferson High School Principal for presenting the students with their Certificates. We also thank Fort Community Credit Union to allow us to use the Beautiful Puerner Room.

Another successful RYLA Rotary Youth Leadership Academy! William, Kessa and Desi said it was awesome! Happy to see Justin too who served as counselor the past two years as well as Danny and Kaylee who served as counselors this year!
