🍎📚 Congratulations to our October Rotary Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Niki Gavigan! 🎉
Niki is a dedicated educator at St. Joseph Catholic School, where she has spent the past 12 years making a difference in the lives of her students—six years as a 4th grade teacher and the past six years as a 1st grade teacher.
As a teacher leader, Niki brings energy, enthusiasm, and experience to every corner of the school. She works to meet students where they are, helping them build confidence, develop critical skills, and continue moving forward. Her teaching methods challenge students to grow as a whole child, while her strong relationships with students and families allow her to encourage and support learners who may be struggling.
Beyond her classroom, Niki coordinates the school's Homework Club for students in grades 4–8, helping students strengthen skills across subject areas and bringing in additional support when needed. She also shares her talents as a volleyball coach.
We especially loved hearing how Niki's grandparents, Carol and Don Gruber, helped shape her passion for teaching, faith, and service. As teachers and coaches, they modeled what it means to be a dedicated educator and a strong advocate for Fort Atkinson—a legacy Niki continues today. 💙
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Niki Gavigan on being named the Rotary Club of Fort Atkinson's October Teacher of the Month! 👏🍎
Thank you, Niki, for all that you do for your students, your school, and our community!
