A huge thank you to the over 200 kids and families who joined us for our Trunk or Treat! You made the night a massive success. From the incredible car decorations and candy hauls to the awesome games and activities, we had an absolute blast celebrating with all of you.

A special shout-out and thank you goes to the Early Childhood Professions class at Nichols Career Center and the Mid-Missouri Chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children Mid Missouri Chapter of Missouri AEYC (MOAEYC)! Your support, hard work, and dedication to early childhood education helped bring this event to life and made it extra special for all our little trunk-or-treaters.

Events like this only happen because of our wonderful community, and we are so grateful for everyone who pitched in, volunteered, or stopped by.

Last Monday, the United Way of Central Missouri hosted a day-long training for early childhood educators.

Educators from all over Central Missouri attended to learn new techniques, to team-build, and to have some fun! Our presenters included Rosemary Feraldi from The Community Partnership and Jim "Mr. Stinky Feet" Cosgrove, who brought training about the power of music and a positive mindset to the early learning teachers and staff.

Special thanks to Freshwater Church: Jeff City for their help and support on the day of the training!
