"The Club that Fights Diabetes" Join our fight against diabetes & community philanthropic efforts!

Our local chapter of Cosmopolitan Club adheres to Cosmopolitan International key
goals while also focusing on local charities. We meet weekly to organize a variety
of different events including: Tom Henke Charity Golf Classic, Annual Pancake Day, BBQ fundraisers, social events, community service projects. Timber Acres- We have 32 acres of wooded area, including a walking trail, large cabin for events used by Boy Scouts of America, the YMCA, and several other local area groups. Scholarships- We award three $1,000 scholarships each year to area high school students pursuing higher education.

For 32 years, the Tom Henke Charity Classic Celebrity Golf Tournament has brought some pretty impressive names to the course- and even more impressive people together for a great cause. There have been big drives, questionable putts, trash talk, tournament champions, celebrity hangs, and more than a few stories that probably get better every time they're told.

But that's the magic of this tournament.

It's a chance for our community to play alongside celebrities, reconnect with friends, meet new people and have a whole lot of fun, all while helping support the important work of the Jefferson City Cosmopolitan Club.

The JC Cosmo Club is dedicated to fighting diabetes and supporting children with disabilities and their families. Through the years, the Tom Henke Charity Classic golf tournament has helped the club give hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Special Learning Center and support families impacted by diabetes.

So yes, we're here to play golf. But we're really here to make a difference. And we're have a great tim

Our annual Tom Henke Charity Classic Golf Tournament is about much more than a day on the golf course. It’s about coming together as a community to support children with disabilities and their families and to continue the fight against diabetes. The 32nd Annual Tom Henke Charity Classic Golf Tournament is coming up, and we couldn't be more excited to tee it up once again!

What started decades ago as a way to give back to the Special Learning Center has grown into one of Jefferson City’s most cherished traditions. Year after year, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, celebrities and friends come together for a little day of golf, and a whole lot of giving back.

Through the years, this tournament has helped provide hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting children with developmental disabilities and their families, while also helping the Jefferson City Cosmo Club continue its mission of fighting diabetes and supporting families affected by the disease.

That's something worth celebrating! Here's to 32 years of great golf, great people and an even greater cause!
