If you ordered and paid for a Puzzle Piece Tray, Ken Koncerak will have them at the OA Weekend this weekend at Conestoga. They will then be at the Westmoreland Fayette Council, Scouting America Service Center. Also, if your Unit did not receive patches (as we were shorted by the patch company) those patches will also be available. Thank you!

We were so very lucky to have Patrick Emmett McBride join us at Camporee 250 as Franklin Alive. What a wonderful man and a genuine scholar. So sorry to share the news of his passing with the Scouting community.

Bushy Run Battlefield is saddened to hear of the passing of our dear friend, Patrick McBride. Many of you may remember Pat from his recent participation in the 250th Anniversary Camporee. Since becoming involved in the reenacting community in 2019, Pat was a valued friend to Bushy Run and a familiar face at living history events. His passion for history, kindness, and friendship will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

A special thank you to our attending Food Trucks, wrangled by none other than Dave Trout, Dave did an excellent job. Smash Pit and Pittsburgh Smokehouse were able to help sponsor us with donations. Thank you! Smash Pit has a special place in my heart because they were the first Food Truck to sign up with us, very, very early. Grilled Cheese, Please, SpectroDolce, and Honeybee Bubble Tea added greatly to our event and ensured lunch time would go smoothly. Please remember to support all of these local Food Trucks as you are out and about. Also want to mention StrEat Food - sadly they could not join us because of mechanical issues.

RUFUS! Parade of Mascots King!

Rufus was a good boy at Camporee 250 this weekend! 🐾🤖

Local Boy Scouts got the chance to meet our robot dog, learn a little about the technology behind him and snap some photos along the way. We think it’s safe to say Rufus stole the show!
