Bushy Run Lions Club in Claridge hosts its 64th annual spring chicken BBQ NEXtT SUNDAY (4/26). Quick and easy drive-through and takeout available. Help the Lions support the community.

The Bushy Run Lions Club will hold a Pancake Breakfast at Community United Methodist Church on Route 130 in Harrison City on Saturday, March 21, 2026.

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM until noon. Pancakes are all-you-can eat. Sausage and home fries are also available. Tickets are available for purchase at the door for $7.00. Children under 6 are free. If you have any questions, please call 724-237-1604.

The proceeds will fund the Bushy Run Lions Club's charity efforts. The Bushy Run Lions Club in Claridge conducts multiple fundraisers during the year to raise money for various community, national, and international charity projects. Fundraisers include broom sales, lottery calendars, and two Chicken Barbecue dinners on the last Sundays of April and September. The Club also sponsors Scouting America Troop 239 for boys and girls. New members are always welcome.

We have a few 2026 Lottery Calendars available. They are $25 each. Please call 724-454-1872 if you would like to purchase one.

The calendar has a 3 digit number that is good for all year. If your number is drawn on the evening Pennsylvania lottery, you win the cash prize listed for that day. Prizes range from $25, $50, and $100. Christmas Day is $500 if your number hits.

The Bushy Run Lions Club Fall Chicken Barbecue is TODAY 9/28 from 11-5 at the Lions Club on Church Street in Claridge. Meals include a 1/2 chicken, cole slaw, roll, cookies, and a drink. Tickets are $13 and are available at the event.
