Our first annual Birdies Fore Brooklynn is coming up!! We are so excited! For those that would like to support but can’t make it out, we are in need of gift cards to local restaurants or shops valued at $25 or greater. I’d be happy to coordinate a pick up if needed.

We are officially at 81 golfers registered for Birdies Fore Brooklynn, and our goal is to break 100 players on May 29 at Forest Creek Golf Club.

STOP. Don’t scroll.

This week social media is taken by storm by an incredible young man who had to make a video advocating for the care he deserves. A child who should only worry about bad grades on a test or forgetting a chore. Instead, he had to take his life into his hands to plead for help to get the experimental treatment that is a last ditch effort, a fight he never should have had to do.

And celebrities noticed. The president noticed. RFK Jr called him. Dr Oz. And most of the US.

And this child is getting the attention he desperately deserves. Thank God.

But the thing that gets me? He shouldnt have had to plea. These kids deserve access to the TOP protocols. Treatments they often can’t get. Our kids deserve to have a future because we are closure to a cure. They deserve to get more than 4% of cancer research funding. But they don’t, because society doesn’t prioritize it. We’ve heard it all. Everything from ‘It’s too hard to look at’ or ‘It’s rare’. But we are desperate for cures for our kids and the reason we kee posting on it, keep traveling to DC to meet with lawmakers, and keep sharing the stories.

Because kids matter.

The 47 kids diagnosed today.

The 47 kids diagnosed tomorrow.

And the next day.

And the next.

My question to each of you is, will you stand up? Will you fight for our kids? Kids who have outdated treatments, lack of drugs and trials, who are using protocols over 30 years old. Children who have such a disparity in options vs adults.

Will you continue to be loud and demand change?

This is what why we passionately advocate.

Because they don’t have time. The time is now.

They depend on us.

And with your help.
Each of you.
Real change can happen.

Right now, it’s just me, a table, and a mission that means everything to me. 💛

The Brooklynn Miller Foundation was created in memory of my daughter, Brooklynn. She is my why, my heart, and the reason I continue to show up. And over the last two years, that “why” has only grown as I’ve met so many incredible kids and families walking this same journey. This is for them, too.

Today, we’re here to raise awareness and bring smiles to kids battling cancer… even in the middle of everything they’re facing.
