Jarrell American Legion The Joe Kott Post 317 was founded February 17th 1938 and named after a local Veteran that was Killed in Action.

Post 317 is located on 2 acres, perfect for hosting outdoor events and with a large recreation hall and kitchen we can cater on site with accommodations for up to 300 guests. We hope that if you are a Veteran looking to join The American Legion, or if you are a Legionnaire who has recently moved to the area, that you will consider becoming a member of Joe Kott Post 317. t Veterans, but would like to volunteer in our community you may still be eligible to join The American Legion Auxiliary or the Sons of the American Legion. The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
