OK guys now that things have calmed down I wanted to take a few minutes and tell you all how much I appreciate you. For 3 years you have shown up, dealt with me learning how to run the cookoff, donated, supported, welcomed the newcomers, and are true examples of amazing Texas BBQ cookers. With your support we were able to raise over $8,000.00 at our little cook-off this year to support The Brooklynn Miller Foundation!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! We ended up with 36 teams cooking to help make Brooklynn's last wishes come true...... so her mama can help other kids from all over that are battling for their lives to find their smiles. I know we all have things going on in our lives but that didn't keep you guys from showing up to selflessly help others. You guys are amazing!!!

I also want to say a huge thank you to our sponsors!!!

See you same time same place next year!

I want to set a $12,000 goal for next year, we can do it!

If you made top 10 can you please comment and let us know what place... We run this cook-off completely anonymous I go o...

If you made top 10 can you please comment and let us know what place... We run this cook-off completely anonymous I go off the number we write on the top of the tray after it is turned in so we have no clue where people place but I love finding out after the fact.

Good morning everybody
I just want to make sure everybody understands that it is only open that is an optional show piece. The open is anything you want to turn in. Have fun with it and be creative.

The 3 meats must be 15 by size pieces and a showpiece.

Good morning everyone! To make things bit easier for some of the open submissions I'm going to say you do not NEED a showpiece unless you want to put one in there. Some of the things would be impossible to turn in with a showpiece and I get that so I'm going to leave it up to you guys as to whether there is a showpiece with your open turn in or not.
