Pack 117 Wolf Den and their Den Chief from Troop 117 weeded and prepared the vegetable bed at the Marine Cpl. Kyle R. Schneider Commmunity Garden at Immanuel Lutheran during their meeting tonight! We learned about native and invasive weeds, mushrooms, beneficial spiders and insects, and talked about how the community garden provides vegetables and fruits for the food pantry to reduce local food insecurity.
