The rain didn’t stop us! 🌧️

We celebrated receiving our 5% Growth Club Award, welcomed two new Beaches Rotaract members, Paul Handberg and Melinda Duncan, and wrapped up the night with a fun networking activity led by Alex!

Our latest meeting was one to remember! We welcomed Personal Stylist | Jacksonville FL, who joined us to talk about how fashion reflects your values, identity, and the life you’re building. 👗

We also had some exciting club announcements! 🎉

⚙️Welcome to the Board, Vincent Grassia, serving as one of our Sergeants-at-Arms!

And of course, a big CONGRATULATIONS to our September Member of the Month, Blake Bachara! 🏆🩷

After serving as our International Service Chair, Blake hasn’t slowed down! She continues to show up for our club and community through committee meetings, service events, and club meetings. We’re so grateful for her continued dedication! 🌊

We spent the morning volunteering with Possabilities Plus , an incredible local nonprofit empowering teens and adults with special needs through job training, employment opportunities, and programs that build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. 💙

Our Rotaractors helped with gardening & outdoor beautification, sorting & organizing holiday donation items supporting the team wherever help was needed

📍 PossAbilities Plus also accepts thrift store donations on Wednesdays & Saturdays. Their Tea Room is food-safety certified and can accommodate groups of up to 22 people!

Beaches Rotaract spent the morning volunteering with Hope At Hand, Inc. , a Jacksonville nonprofit empowering vulnerable youth through poetry, art, and creative expression. 🎨📝

We helped prepare materials for their fall programs, supporting their mission to build confidence, resilience, and healthy life skills in young people across Northeast Florida.🤝

Our first meeting of the month kicked off with Alex leading us through Estate Planning 101! We learned why having a Will, Trust, POA, and beneficiaries in place is important, even at a young age! 📝

Then we switched gears and got competitive with our Fantasy Football Draft! 🏈The Rotaractors definitely came ready to draft their dream teams! 😂🏆

This past Saturday, Beaches Rotaractors had the opportunity to support the Angelwood, Inc. Shine Gala by welcoming guests, assisting with registration and auctions, and helping make the evening a memorable one. 💙

Angelwood provides lifelong support and opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live more independent, fulfilling lives. We’re proud to volunteer alongside an organization making such a meaningful difference for local families. 🌟

Last night we dove into the world of AI & cybersecurity with Brian and Olivia Clontz through an amazing, interactive presentation packed with tips to help us protect our digital footprint. 🤖💻

We also celebrated our Member of the Month, Carley Mullen 🎉 and welcomed three new Beaches Rotaract members: Cody Blevins, Kali Molter & Baylee Ritcher! 💙

A special thank you to Jennifer Lougue from Ponte Vedra Rotary and Danielle Fisher from Oceanside Rotary for joining us! 🤝
