Cake, candles, and a little extra birthday joy! 🎂🎉

This morning, the Rotary Club of Jacksonville-Oceanside assembled “Birthday Party in a Bag” kits for BEAM to help make birthdays a little brighter for the families we serve.

Filled with cake mix, frosting, candles, a birthday card, plates, napkins, party favors, and more, these kits are provided to families visiting our food pantries who have an upcoming birthday in their household.

At BEAM, we believe no one in our Beaches Community should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. Through our client-choice food pantries, mobile distributions, and grocery delivery program for seniors, we help ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious food with dignity.

This , you can help nourish a neighbor by donating food to our food bank. Our most-needed items right now are cereal and soup. 🥣🥫

You can drop off donations Monday through Saturday from 10 AM–4 PM at our 7 North Donation Center, located at 318 7th Ave. N. in Jacksonville Beach. Please enter through the rear parking lot.

Together, we can keep our shelves stocked and our neighbors supported. 💙🧡

As one chapter comes to a close, we're grateful for the dedicated volunteers and partners who served our neighbors through the Mayport Market Mobile Pantry. Thank you to HOPE Church - Mayport for so warmly welcoming us and providing a place to serve our community, and to Palms Presbyterian Church and Southside Christian Church Jacksonville (Disciples of Christ) for distributing thousands of pounds of BEAM-supplied food with compassion and care. We look forward to seeing where this shared spirit of service leads next! 💙

September is Hunger Action Month! 🧡

Throughout the month, communities across the country are raising awareness and taking action in the fight against hunger.

At BEAM, our hunger relief efforts are powered by people who care. With support from neighbors, advocates, volunteers, donors, local partners, and community organizations, we’re helping ensure local families have access to the nutritious food they need.

There are many ways to make a difference—donate food, give financially, volunteer your time, or simply help spread the word. Every action, big or small, helps us fight hunger, strengthen our Beaches Community, and bring hope to neighbors when they need it most. 💙🧡
