Today I dropped off 1,300 masks and donated cleaning and sanitation supplies at Lutheran Social Services and there is a definite need for NEW household good donations and volunteers! They are not accepting clothing at this time.

They are still gathering information about the incoming refugees, but there will be a lot of ways to support!

The local services don’t have a ton of new info on the coming refugees yet. I am going to continue to collect sanitation and COVID prevention items and drop during the collection window on Wednesday. I will keep updating here as I find out more!

I just spoke with Mr. Ayub who is organizing donations. They have a meeting tomorrow with the Lutheran Social Services and Baptist Health and will have a better idea of the items they need.
They expect 1,000 refugees to arrive soon.
They have too many baby items already
He expects them to have a critical need of sanitation items related to preventing COVID.
I will collect any donations, but if anyone can help me supply hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies, that might be best. I will get an update tomorrow with more details.

There is a great need for donations for arrival of Afghani refugees to our area. I will be donated masks this week and would like to also donate other items like wipes, diapers, and hand sanitizer.

The first shipment of KN95 masks has arrived! Please contact me if you know a school in need.
Due to the emergent need, I also intend to donate to the Afghan refugees arriving in Jax soon. If you have any of these items to donate, please let me know and I can deliver them with the masks.

Mask update! The first delivery will be here on Wednesday! In light of the school board voting to put a mask mandate in place, many schools may be in need. Please let me know any schools or organizations that need them. Main priority will go to public schools!
