Many thanks to everyone who helped box up donations for the poor and indigent patients we serve! In just a few hours, our collective efforts will help hundreds of patients—it’s not every day we can say we accomplished something like that.

A special thank you as well to our generous donors and to everyone working hard to secure funding through grants and other means so we can continue this important work.

Such a great time filled with food, camaraderie, stories, laughter, and, most importantly, the opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Looking forward to many more opportunities to serve and make a difference together.

Congratulations to some of the patients we have been privileged to help through our partner, Bahatala, in the Philippines! These inspiring individuals recently participated in a charity run/walk/wheelchair event dedicated to promoting disability awareness, inclusion, and empowerment.

We are especially proud that many of the participants helped organize this event themselves, demonstrating that disability does not define a person’s ability to lead, serve, and make a difference in their communities.

Events like this highlight the impact that donors can have when they support rehabilitation, needed surgeries, assistive devices, and other initiatives through Orthopedic Humanitarian International (OHI) and Bahatala. Your generosity helps empower individuals not only to regain mobility and independence but also to become advocates and leaders for others facing similar challenges.

Thank you to everyone who has supported these efforts. Together, we are helping create opportunities, restore hope, and showcase the incredible abilities of those we serve!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us today to help box donations for underserved and indigent patients. We are also incredibly grateful to our generous donors who made this effort possible. Thanks to your support, these much-needed supplies will benefit hundreds of patients and the healthcare professionals serving them in charity hospitals across the Philippines.

We truly appreciate everyone who chose to spend part of their Saturday giving back to others. A special shoutout to Wilza, who volunteered despite having a wedding to attend, and to Dr. Pre Singh, who spent her last day at Mayo Clinic helping with this project while preparing for her move to Philadelphia.

Not many people can say that just a few hours of their day directly impacted hundreds of lives, but today was one of those special moments. Your dedication, hard work, and spirit of service made a meaningful difference.

We would also like to recognize UMAC, an amazing partner in helping us ship these donations to charity hospitals and patients. Their continued support, including providing discounted shipping rates, reflects their belief in our mission and the communities we serve.

Because of your teamwork, commitment, and growing expertise in packing donations, we were able to box a record number of supplies, even with fewer volunteers than expected at the last minute.

Thank you again to everyone who contributed. This would not have been possible without your generosity, compassion, and willingness to serve. Together, you helped make a real difference!

What an incredible day at the 3rd Game of Throwers Charity Disc Golf Event! On behalf of Ortho HI and Par On Disc Golf, thank you so much to everyone who came out, played, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and supported this amazing event. We are truly overwhelmed by the turnout, generosity, and positive energy from the community.

Whether you were brand new to disc golf or a seasoned competitor, every throw today helped make a real difference in the lives of patients facing musculoskeletal challenges and children with clubfoot deformities who need life-changing surgeries and care. Because of the support from past events, we have already been able to help several children receive clubfoot surgeries and organize donation drives that sent 31 boxes of medical supplies to underserved hospitals. Today’s success means we can continue helping even more people in need.

A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors and supporters: Halo-Halong Sangkap for the delicious food, Caitlyn Smith and Funny Girl Coffee for keeping everyone energized, and especially Par On Disc Golf for organizing another fantastic tournament. Tomorrow, May 16, is the big day! Looking forward to seeing everyone at 8:00 AM at Ed Austin Park for the “Game of Throwers” Disc Golf Fundraiser, organized by Par On Disc Golf and Ortho HI. This is shaping up to be our biggest event yet, with close to 100 participants expected! Here’s to a wonderful day filled with fun, camaraderie, competition, and most importantly, helping others through an amazing sport.
