Boys & Girls Club of Jackson Members are encouraged to adopt good study habits, stay in school, set goals, and respect adults and peers. As a club, we serve youth between the ages of 5-18.

Our Mission:
To enable all young people, especially those that need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Who We Are: The Boys & Girls Club of Jackson is a nonprofit organization that provides afterschool and summer programs to youth in Madison and Haywood Counties. We are dedicated to promoting the educational, vocational, and character

development of boys and girls in a safe and caring environment that is professionally staffed. Children are also given the tools to resist drugs and violence. What We Offer:All of our after school and summer programs are age appropriate and are designed to meet the needs of developing youth. The programs that we offer focus on five main areas including character and leadership development, education and career development, health and life skills, the arts, and sports, fitness and recreation.The Boys & Girls Club of Jackson utilizes many of the Boys & Girls Club of America's evidence-based programs that have been tested and proven nationally. These programs, located at our various clubs, include Youth of the Year, Torch Club, SMART Moves, SMART Girls, Power Hour, Project Learn, Money Matters, and Triple Play.To learn more about our programs and what we offer, please visit our website at http://www.bgcjmc.org/. Summer at the Club is about more than keeping kids busy. It’s about helping young people stay active, engaged, and inspired while school is out.

This summer, our Club members are exploring new experiences through movies, swimming, local parks, fishing trips, art activities, outdoor adventures, career exploration opportunities, and educational field trips throughout West Tennessee.

Every activity is designed to help youth build confidence, strengthen friendships, apply what they learn in everyday situations, and discover new interests that support future success.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate three of our very own club members who participated in the 6th Annual Miss Juneteenth Jackson Pageant this past Saturday!

Ms. Rylah Steele earned the title of 3rd Runner-Up for Little Miss Juneteenth Jackson 2026, showcasing poise, confidence, and excellence throughout the competition.

Ms. Jade Irvin was crowned Little Miss Juneteenth Jackson 2026! What an amazing accomplishment and a testament to her hard work, dedication, and grace.

Lauren Brooks was crowned Miss Juneteenth Jackson 2026, and she is also an alumna of the club

On Best Friends Day, we are celebrating the connections, encouragement, laughter, and memories our members build together every day at the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson.

The Club is more than a place for programs and activities. It is a place where young people feel welcomed, supported, and connected to a community that cares about them.

Boys and Girls Club East was filled with smiles, laughter, and so much excitement as our students proudly came in showing off their awards and celebrating all of their hard work this year. We are so proud of each and every one of them!

At Boys & Girls Club of Jackson, we are grateful for the sacrifices made to protect the freedoms and opportunities our young people enjoy every day. We remember those who served with courage and honor, and we extend our gratitude to the families who carry their legacy forward.

Adventure, teamwork, and leadership are all part of the journey as we head to Teen Elevate in Ocoee, Tennessee!

This retreat-style experience gives our 9th–12th grade members the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones, strengthen friendships, build confidence, and grow as young leaders through outdoor activities and shared experiences.

At Boys & Girls Club of Jackson, we believe some of the most important lessons happen beyond the classroom. Trips like these help teens develop leadership skills, positive relationships, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.

We are excited to see our teen members "elevate", learn, grow, and make memories together. 💙
