It is with deep regret that I tell you there is no Jackson BMX anymore. The track has been bulldozed.

Just couldn't get enough hands involved in maintaining the track.

For those interested in BMX in Jackson. There will be a meeting tonight with the city @ February 13th, 2024 at North Parkway Middle School's Cafeteria. Please be aware of the time adjustment, the meeting will begin at 5:PM.

The city has never had a BMX track since the early 80's. Sorry for the short notice, I just found out myself. The more people the better.

To all concerned;

After our meeting we had a long discussion with the Parks Director. Doesn't look like the parks dept is willing to put for the expense....Unless we can show some support. Their budget currently doesn't have any money for us until JULY. So we have until then to make an impact.

In the discussion we have come to the conclusion that relocating the track to another park would be best for us. The new location would on the north side of town, and a lot closer to I40.

What we need is a presence, to show the parks dept, that the track will be used. Here's a link to the petition. Please Sign it, and get anyone else, willing, to sign it.
