Week one of our summer ministry led to several salvations and we want to pause and give God all the glory for the amazing fruit He is bringing.

Our dedicated team of 7 total volunteers (including our wonderful summer interns and staff) poured their hearts into 19 club sessions across 2 locations: the Humboldt Boys & Girls Club and the Milan YMCA!

Look at how God moved through these 5-Day Clubs:

58 children reached with the clear message of the Gospel!

71 precious boys and girls prayed with for various life issues and needs heavy on their hearts.

🎉 12 children made professions of faith and trusted Jesus as their Savior!

We are so incredibly proud of our interns—Caleb, Autumn, Kylie, and Eli—as they step out in boldness to lead these clubs and plant eternal seeds right here in Central West Tennessee. God is answering our prayers for the next generation!

As we wrap up our second week of the summer ministry please continue to pray for our teams, our upcoming clubs, and the seeds that were planted this week. The Lord is doing a mighty work!

Hello LOCAL ministry friends... if you have a little time to help us, I will be meeting some of our CEF interns at the CEF office tomorrow (Sat.) at 2:00pm to go to Lincoln Courts Apts. to put our door hanger invitations that notify the children there of our neighborhood CEF activities next week. If you can help, it would be appreciated. We meet in front of the old Poplar Heights Church @ 1980 Hollywood in Jackson. Thanks in advance!

If you have been following our summer updates and catching glimpses of our CYIA™ youth missionaries out in the field, you might be wondering exactly what a 5-Day Club® is!

Think of it as a fast-paced, high-energy Vacation Bible School packed into 90 minutes a day for five consecutive days. Instead of waiting for families to come to us, our teams take the Gospel directly to where the children are—meeting in local West Tennessee backyards, community centers, churches, and parks!

During a club, kids play review games, sing upbeat songs, learn scripture verses, and hear exciting stories from the Bible. Best of all? It is completely free, safe, and entirely focused on sharing the wonderful news of God's love with boys and girls right here in our communities.

Yesterday our summer ministry season officially kicked off. Our first day in the field was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. This team was able to share the Gospel with 48 children in 4 sessions across 2 cities, planting lots of Gospel seeds and praying with 12 boys and girls about various life issues.

God is already moving! Thank you for partnering with us in prayer for these students and the children they reach.

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to "Start children off on the way they should go..." There is no better time to plant those seeds of faith than during the summer break. Through games, songs, and dynamic Bible lessons, our summer ministry aims to share the Gospel with children right where they are—in backyards, community centers, and neighborhoods all across Greater Jackson. Please be in prayer for our teams as they finalize preparations for our summer ministry.

PRAYER NEEDED FOR OUR CYIA STUDENTS! 🙏

Our Christian Youth In Action (CYIA) students are officially preparing to step into the mission field right here in Greater Jackson! These incredible teens have been training hard, diving into God’s Word, and preparing their hearts to share the Gospel with children all across our community this summer.

As they get ready to go out, we know that spiritual preparation is the most important step. They cannot do this without the power of prayer covering them!

How you can pray for our CYIA team this week:

Boldness & Clarity: Pray that God gives them the courage to speak boldly and clearly as they share the message of salvation.

Endurance & Strength: Summer ministry is joyful but hard work. Pray for physical energy, sharp minds, and joyful spirits.

Open Hearts: Pray for the children who will hear the Gospel—that their hearts would be good soil, ready to receive Jesus.

Protection: Pray for spiritual and physical protection over every student, leader, and host location.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." — Matthew 9:37-38
