We are getting so excited for Play Day on Wednesday, May 20! 🎉☀️

Our PTO and school staff have worked hard to plan a fun-filled day for the students, and we can’t wait to see everyone enjoying the stations, games, food vendors, and activities.

We still need grade-level volunteers to help with the PTO Carnival Station. The good news is that these are just 45-minute shifts, and you’ll be volunteering while your child’s class is already rotating through that station — so you’ll get to spend that time with your child while helping make Play Day successful for everyone!

If you’ve been hesitant to sign up because you thought you’d miss time with your child, this is actually a great opportunity to be part of their Play Day experience. ❤️

Please also note: if weather forces Play Day indoors, only parent volunteers will be allowed to stay due to space limitations. Signing up to volunteer ensures you’ll still be able to attend if we need to move activities inside.

Our next South Elementary PTO meeting is coming up on April 14 at 5:30 PM.

We will be electing executive board members and committee chairpersons for the upcoming school year. If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved, this is the perfect time to jump in and help shape what next year looks like for our school.

We’ll also be discussing plans for Teacher Appreciation Week and finalizing details for Playday, so it’s a great opportunity to see what’s coming up and how you can be part of it.

We would love to see new faces and welcome anyone who wants to be part of making a difference for our students, staff, and school community.
