Who’s excited for the 4th of July on Isle of Palms? 🇺🇸

Kick off your holiday with one of the island’s most beloved traditions—the annual Golf Cart Parade! Decorate your cart in patriotic flair and join the fun as festive floats roll through the community.

Then, in the afternoon, look to the skies as military and vintage private aircraft participate in a special flyover stretching from one end of South Carolina’s coastline to the other.

Cap off the celebration at Front Beach, where the Isle of Palms’ annual Independence Day Fireworks Show lights up the night sky beginning at 9:00 PM.

It’s a day full of community, tradition, and red, white, and blue fun. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

🚨 FREE Community Training Opportunity

The Isle of Palms Fire & Rescue Department has partnered with Wake Up Carolina to offer a free Narcan Training & Opioid Overdose Response Presentation on Monday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Isle of Palms Public Safety Building.

This informative session will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose, respond safely in an emergency, and use Narcan® (naloxone), a medication that can help save lives.

Attendees will receive:
✔️ Free opioid overdose response training
✔️ Free fentanyl test kits
✔️ Free Narcan® nasal spray

Whether you’re a resident, business owner, employee, parent, or simply someone who wants to be prepared to help in a crisis, this training provides valuable knowledge that could make a difference when seconds matter.
