New York Knicks Legend, Bill Bradley, on a Classic SOUNDS OF FILM

In honor of the New York Knicks winning the championship, we’re revisiting a classic episode of The Sounds of Film.

Host Tom Needham sits down with Knicks legend, Hall of Famer, and former Senator Bill Bradley to discuss Rolling Along, a moving film that reflects on his remarkable journey from small-town Missouri to Princeton, the New York Knicks, the United States Senate, and a presidential campaign.

Recorded at the Port Jefferson Documentary Series, this conversation explores storytelling, perseverance, leadership, and the lessons Bradley has learned through a lifetime of triumphs and challenges.

The SOUNDS OF FILM Podcast is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, & Amazon Music

The audience has spoken, and the Fall 2025 series Audience Award winner is FOR THE LIVING! The vote tallies were high and close across all seven films that made up the PJDS 2025 Fall Slate. These high scores let us know that we are curating films you appreciate and creating events that you value - many thanks for your feedback and attention!

FOR THE LIVING edged out the other titles this Fall. The filmmakers were greatly appreciative of this honor. Tim Roper, the co-director who flew out from Colorado to join us was grateful for this recognition and reiterated what a memorable time he spent with us in conversation.
