SCATI (Suffolk County Anti-Trafficking Initiative), in partnership with Argus, was proud to premiere the launch of the Violationship campaign โ a powerful short film exploring the hidden signs of abuse, exposing exploitation, and challenging common misconceptions surrounding human trafficking.
The film is part of a broader campaign led by SCATI, encouraging individuals to take a closer look at their relationships and ask: โIs this a violation of what I deserve?โ
Thank you to everyone who joined us on May 15th and our panelists, Feride Castillo, Laura Mullen, Det. Sgt. James Johnson, and Argus' own, Max Simons for this impactful and important conversation. A big shout-out to the survivors who provided their expertise that led this campaign. Together, we continue raising awareness, educating our community, and standing against human trafficking.
