We worship a God whose love led Jesus to align with those on the margins. For this, he was a victim of public ex*****on. If this doesn't dissuade Christians from approving of the reinstatement of public ex*****ons, I don't know what will.
Come with us to worship this God of compassion, whose power is not in domination, but in transformative solidarity with this suffering world. Sunday at 9:30 AM

Join us this Sunday, 9/20, for a word from Rev. Chris Smith, who comes to us from one of our Tanzanian partner organizations, Friends of Huruma. Pastor Chris will preach and lead a Faith Formation Hour.

From https://www.friendsofhuruma.org/
The Huruma Centre has a simple mission: To give children a home and a future. Since its founding, the Huruma Centre has raised more than 900 children. The government charter provided to the Huruma Centre allows the Centre to house up to 60 children from birth through age 17. The staff of the Huruma Centre nurture, provide for basic needs, and care for the children. Children, from infants up through about age 6, are cared for during the day at the day care facility of the Huruma Centre. The day care facility provides care for the neighborhood children as well, providing additional income for the Huruma Centre. The day care also serves as a kindergarten for older preschool children.
