This nice very helpful boy is Midnight. He is around eight or nine years old. He just came from an animal control in Iowa, previously he was living on a farm as a coyote hunter. He needs to put some weight on, is fairly anemic from chronic hookworms (we are treating), and had a benign tumor removed from his chest at the time of his neuter. He’s had a pretty hard life. But all he really wants is to sit in someone’s lap and be loved on. He has not said a mean word to any of the dogs here. He just wags his tail and hopes desperately that you will acknowledge him. He does like to put his front paws up on things. I want to get him out of the adoption kennel as quickly as possible and into a forever home. Could you be Midnight’s forever family?

This nice mature gal is Zoe. She has lived outside her whole life. She is around 8 years old now and would like a shot at a real family. She likes attention and being babytalked to haha. She is depressed in the adoption kennel and would love to bust outta there. Taz and his littermate Tiny lived in a home together for four years and were relinquished to rescue through no fault of their own. They were listed as greyhound mixes when they were originally placed, but we are not so sure. Both Taz and Tiny are extremely sweet, calm, and nice dogs. The two are quite fond of each other, and we would prefer to place them together, if at all possible. Visit our website for more info or to apply!

This handsome devil is Bruiser! Bruiser is an 8 year old boy who has lived a rough life as a coyote hunter and is so ready for his forever family. He has lots of scars, and is a bit wobbly in the rear likely due to an old hunting injury (this does not really slow him down, but it does mean that a home without a lot of stairs or slippery floors is probably his best bet, and a joint supplement might be a good idea long-term). Bruiser is extremely sweet, loves people, loves to be loved on and put his head in your lap. En route to MNGR, he spent a couple days in a home with a cat, and did well. He is a large boy (85 pounds and too skinny at present), but has an equally big heart. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready to find his forever. Please help us get Mr Handsome out of the adoption kennel and into your loving arms.

Tootsie! This lil gal is the last of her litter to be matched. She was born in December and is half greyhound, half foxhound. Mama Sugar is also still waiting for her forever family to find her! Is it you?

Wouldn’t anyone like to give a home to Mama Sugar? She is around eight years old and the mother of the four puppies. She is sweet as she could possibly be. She is a great mom, and loves to play with her puppies, even when they jump all over her like little velociraptors. The first of her puppies went to its new home this weekend, and she has been depressed and not wanting to eat. Another one of the puppies will be going home soon.
