Residents and staff enjoyed an Elvis-inspired afternoon on the patio! 🎶 From tasty banana and peanut butter flavored treats and mocktails to plenty of smiles and conversation, it was the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy one another’s company.

These socials are about more than just the theme—they give residents and staff a chance to connect in a more personal atmosphere, build friendships, and simply have fun together. ❤️

Creativity was in full bloom yesterday with the craft group! 🌺 They made beautiful, pressed flower jars to decorate the dining room tables. This project took concentration, patience and a gentle touch as the pressed flowers were very fragile and tricky to work with. As usual, the ladies did an amazing job. It is always fun to see the finished product as they are all so beautiful and different. Great job, ladies! 💐

Our Friday craft was all the buzz as residents turned wooden eggs into bumblebee shelf sitters! 🐝 With paint and markers, everyone brought these sweet bees to life, adding a cheerful touch of summer to their homes. It was a wonderful afternoon, and everyone had a great time. When you're having this much fun, it's easy to 'bee' happy at Timber Hills! 💛🖤

After 23 years of providing exceptional care to the residents of Timber Hills, our beloved Nurse Practitioner, Shelly, is embarking on a well-deserved retirement. We recently gathered with residents, their families, and staff to celebrate her incredible career and thank her for the compassion, kindness, and dedication she has shown every day. Shelly's gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering commitment have touched countless lives, making a lasting difference in our community. While we will greatly miss seeing her familiar smile and expert care, we are so grateful for the many years she devoted to Timber Hills. Please join us in wishing Shelly a retirement filled with happiness, good health, relaxation, and many new adventures. Nothing says summer quite like a trip for ice cream and a fun seashell craft! 🍦🐚 Residents enjoyed a fun outing to Selma's Ice Cream, where they indulged in their favorite ice cream treat. Back at Timber Hills, the creativity continued as everyone crafted beautiful seashell wreaths, each one beautiful and unique. From sweet treats to seaside-inspired creations, it was another fun and busy week making new memories together.

July is Culinary Arts Month, and there's no better time to celebrate stories like Tom's. Life enrichment director, Linda at Orchard Path - a PHS senior living community, recently spent an afternoon teaching him something new: how to grill. It was his first time firing up the barbecue, and he nailed it, flipping, seasoning and serving up perfect hamburgers on the first try. Way to go, Tom! 🍔🔥
