🕵️‍♀️🔧⚙️Friday Find: The Copper Shed in Aulne, an unincorporated community in Marion County Kansas.

Keeping the family tradition alive that started with craftsman Ern Hett, his family still sells unique copper art along with a wide variety of antiques for all parts of the home, inside and out at this shop. Open on Fridays and Saturdys, if you drive by and want to shop, pull in the driveway. If the family is home, they are happy to open.

The annual Symphony at Sunset concert at the Eisenhower Presidential Library Campus in Abilene will take plan on Saturday, June 6.

The evening is capped by a concert performed by the Salina Symphony. And, admission is free to the museum all day.

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks has announced that June 6 and 7, 2026 will be Free Fishing Days for Kansas!

From the press release, "Free Fishing Days will be June 6 and 7, 2026. On those days, anyone can fish by legal means without a Kansas fishing license. Length and creel limits remain in effect."
