🚨 Compliance Alert: The EEOC has formally proposed to rescind EEO-1 reporting requirements (along with EEO-2 through EEO-5). However, this is only a proposal right now—not a Final Rule.

What does this mean for employers and federal contractors?
1️⃣ The law hasn't changed yet. Existing regulations still require EEO-1 submissions by September 30 annually.
2️⃣ Keep gathering data. Employers must continue collecting workforce demographic data to satisfy Title VII, UGESP, and potential state obligations.
3️⃣ Portal delay. Notably, the EEOC has not yet opened the 2026 filing portal or published a proposed instruction booklet.
