Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation Bosma Visionary Opportunities Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to supporting Hoosiers who are blind and visually impaired.

Our Foundation serves as the sole philanthropic fundraising source for the Bosma Center for Visionary Solutions, which provides rehabilitation and training to people who are blind or visually impaired. These programs, which range from intensive Center-based services to in-home assistance for seniors and others, would not be possible without the help of Foundation supporters and donors.

When it comes to supporting independence, every gift has a story behind it.

This White Cane Day week, we’re grateful for supporters like Mike Nowak, President and CEO of Envirocleanse, and a member of the White Cane Society, whose generosity helps make life-changing programs and services possible for Hoosiers navigating vision loss.

The White Cane Society recognizes individuals who make a lasting commitment to Bosma’s mission through annual giving. Their support helps ensure people who are blind or visually impaired have access to the training, tools and opportunities they need to build confidence and live independently.

Join Mike and other White Cane Society members in helping create opportunities for the next person beginning their journey.

What does $10,000 make possible?

For someone experiencing vision loss, it can help fund a complete rehabilitation journey through the Bosma Visionary Solutions Center.

That journey may include learning new technology, building daily living skills, receiving adjustment counseling, developing mobility techniques and preparing for employment opportunities.
It’s not a single service. It’s a personalized path toward independence and a life that’s not defined by vision loss.

This White Cane Day week, we’re working to ensure more Hoosiers have access to the training, tools and support they need to navigate what’s next.

What does a white cane represent? 🦯

For many, it’s a symbol of independence, confidence and the ability to navigate the world on your own terms.

This White Cane Day week, we’re sharing the story of Donna Williams, whose journey through vision loss led her to Bosma and ultimately helped her regain the skills and confidence to continue pursuing her goals.

Her story is a powerful reminder that vision loss doesn’t define what’s possible. With the right training and support, individuals can continue living independently and building the future they envision.

🎥 Watch Donna’s story and join us as we kick off White Cane Day week.
