🏆2026 PUBLIC SERVANT OF THE YEAR🏆

We are excited to announce State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield) as the IHCA/INCAL 2026 Public Servant of the Year! 🌟

He was presented with this well-deserved honor at our annual Convention & Expo. 📸 Check out the event photo below featuring Sen. Crider and IHCA/INCAL leadership on stage.

As the Senate sponsor of HEA 1277, he championed a critical new state law during the 2026 legislative session to reform Indiana’s PathWays for Aging Medicaid Program. His leadership directly protects elderly and vulnerable Hoosiers who rely on skilled nursing care, assisted living, and home- and community-based services.

"Senator Crider is a hardworking legislator who is passionate about helping others," said IHCA/INCAL President Paul Peaper. "Thanks to his dedication, more Hoosier seniors and those with disabilities will receive the critical medical care they need and deserve. We look forward to continuing our work with Senator Crider to strengthen state policies impacting our industry, residents and practitioners."
