Congratulations again to the Carmel High School Academic WorldQuest team!

Last night, the Carmel City Council recognized Carmel High School for its outstanding achievement at the Academic WorldQuest National Competition, where the team earned 1st Place nationally and also won the AWQ 25th Anniversary Logo Contest.

The Indiana Council on World Affairs was proud to be there as the team was honored by the City of Carmel, Mayor Sue Finkam, and members of the Carmel City Council.

We are incredibly proud of these students, their coach, and Carmel High School for representing Indiana on the national stage and showing the importance of global education, teamwork, and civic engagement.

Congratulations to Leyiing Lang, Rafan Tajwer, Grayson Miller, Ryan Sharp, and their Social Studies teacher Dominique Camara!

Join us for Ukrainian Indiana’s Got Talent, a free community fundraiser supporting the Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana.

Enjoy an afternoon of performances, food, vendors, auction items, and community connection while helping support Ukrainian language, history, and cultural education here in Indiana.

The Indiana Council on World Affairs will be there as one of the participating vendors. Stop by our table to connect with ICWA members and learn about upcoming programs and events.
