Ready2BSocial Ready2BSocial (R2BS) is an access program for K-12 students in the Indianapolis community to practice combatting social emotional challenge.

Social skill development is a prerequisite to learning. The Ready2BSocial program aims to reduce community crime by teaching K-12 students essential social skills through collaborative learning experiences. Directed by Shona Johnson Moreland, it offers professional development for families and caregivers to emphasize the importance of social skills for academic and social success. The program also

conducts hands-on activities during school breaks in partnership with Indy Parks & Recreation, promoting social engagement through play. It supports educators with classroom management and helps communities in conflict areas by encouraging youth to use peacemaking strategies instead of violence.
