🌟 Building Tomorrow’s Leaders! 🌟
Ed Hallock spoke to our Rotary Club about S4TL, Seminar for Tomorrow’s Leaders, an incredible week-long leadership experience for high school students.
More than 160 students attend each year, coming from different parts of Florida, different backgrounds, and different economic circumstances. Even students from the same school or community are intentionally placed in groups with students they don’t know, giving them the opportunity to build new relationships and step outside their comfort zones.
Throughout the week, students learn how to communicate effectively, handle themselves with confidence, work with others, and become stronger leaders. Ed shared that every student experiences some type of personal growth during the week.
Another amazing part of S4TL is the quality of the speakers. Each year, approximately $35,000–$40,000 is invested in world-class speakers who share powerful stories, experiences, and life lessons with the students.
To say S4TL makes an impact is an understatement. After just one week, these young people return home more confident, connected, and prepared to become tomorrow’s leaders!
Programs like S4TL are another great example of the impact Rotary makes in the lives of young people. 💙💛
