These two little rookies are sitting in a shelter, and time is running out.

Meet Pippen and Jordan, two adorable 4-month-old puppies named after one of the greatest duos in basketball history. While their names may be legendary, right now they're just babies who need someone to give them a chance.
🐶They need fosters ASAP in order to leave the shelter.
🐾 Jordan (the darker pup) already has a long-term foster lined up! He just needs a temporary foster to bridge the gap and get him safely out of the shelter.
🐾 Pippen is still looking for his foster hero and needs a place to land as soon as possible.
At only 4 months old, these boys should be learning about toys, naps, and belly rubs—not spending their puppyhood behind kennel doors.
They're young, resilient, and full of potential, but every day in the shelter is another day they're missing out on the socialization, love, and stability that puppies need to thrive.

🐾 JOHN WICK UPDATE 🐾

Our favorite one-eyed action hero is settling into foster care and keeping everyone entertained with his goofy personality. ❤️

According to his foster, John Wick is doing great and has fully embraced his role as the household comedian. Whether he's making silly faces, showing off his playful side, or just being his charming self, he's proving every day why everyone who meets him falls in love.
We're still working on his dog-to-dog interactions. John Wick isn't the kind of guy who's looking for a dog park party, but he can coexist with other dogs when given slow, thoughtful introductions and proper management. Like many dogs, he's learning that not every canine stranger needs to be part of his inner circle.

We're also in the process of scheduling a veterinary appointment so his eye can be examined under sedation. While his old injury has never slowed him down, we want to make sure he's as comfortable and healthy as possible.

Through it all, John Wick continues to show us what a resilient, loving dog he is. He's survived a shelter, overcome challenges, and is now patiently waiting for the family that will finally give him the forever home he deserves.

Some duos are just meant to be together. Peanut butter and jelly. Chips and salsa. And these two adorable 4-month-old puppies, Pippen and Jordan.

Named after the legendary Chicago Bulls superstars, these boys are ready to build their own dynasty—if only they can find a place to play. Right now, they urgently need foster homes so MAD Rescue can bring them to safety.

At just 4 months old, Pippen and Jordan are everything you’d expect from puppies: playful, curious, goofy, and full of potential. They're at that perfect age where every day is an adventure, every toy is the best toy ever, and every person they meet is a potential best friend.

This beautiful young Malinois mix was found as a stray, completely alone, with no one looking for her. Despite everything she's been through, she still greets people with hope, affection, and a heart that hasn't given up on humans. ❤️

Hi. I'm Mera.
Apparently I'm supposed to tell you why you should foster or adopt me, which feels a little weird because if we're being honest, I think you should be explaining why you haven't already submitted an application.

But here we are.
A little about me: I'm about 1-2 years old, which means I still have plenty of puppy energy, questionable life choices, and an impressive ability to turn ordinary moments into adventures.

Before rescue, I was found wandering as a stray. No family. No home. Just me out there trying my best. Thankfully, some humans stepped in and gave me a chance, but now I need another hero because I need a foster or adopter ASAP.
The good news? I'm actually a pretty awesome roommate.

✅ House trained
✅ Sweet with people
✅ No signs of aggression
✅ Ready to learn
✅ Professional-level cuddler when I'm tired

I do have a few notes from management:
🐾 I can get excited when I see other dogs and would prefer slow introductions.
🐾 I need structure, consistency, and someone willing to show me how this whole "being a beloved family member" thing works.
🐾 Sometimes I forget that not every adventure requires me to investigate what's happening three counties away, so secure handling is important.

Look, I know I'm not perfect.
I get excited.
I occasionally make decisions before consulting my brain.

I have a lot of enthusiasm and not always a lot of strategy.
But I promise everything I do comes from a good place.

What I really want is a home where I can finally stop wondering where I'll sleep next. A place where someone sees all my potential and decides I'm worth the effort.

Because I am.
And if you give me a chance, I think you'll figure that out pretty quickly.

Hi, I'm Nala. ❤️

I'm 3 years old, and lately I've been wondering something...

Why hasn't anyone chosen me yet?

Maybe it's because people don't know my story.

You see, I have a family who loves me very much. My dad never wanted to say goodbye, but he's being deployed and can't take me with him. If love alone could keep us together, I'd never have to leave. But sometimes life gives us choices we don't want to make.

So now I'm looking for a new family.

I'm a Belgian Malinois, which means I'm smart, loyal, and happiest when I'm spending time with my people. Want to go hiking? I'm in. Swimming? Absolutely. Exploring new places? Count me in. And when the adventure is over, I'm more than happy to relax nearby and be your shadow.

I love my humans deeply and bond hard with my family. I'm great with kids and have so much love to give to the people who give me a chance.

I also currently live with a Yorkie! I can do well with other dogs, but I just need slow introductions so I can feel comfortable and build trust at my own pace.

The good news? I'm spayed, up to date on all my vaccinations, healthy, and ready for my next chapter.

The hard part is waiting.

Every day I wonder if my future family is out there. I wonder if they're scrolling past my photo. I wonder if they're looking for a dog just like me and don't know it yet.

I know leaving my family is going to break my heart. But I hope there's someone out there willing to help put the pieces back together.

I don't need a perfect home. I just need someone who will love me, include me in their life, and give me a chance to show them how special I am.

Crimes: Stealing hearts across multiple states and being ridiculously handsome.
Hey. I'm John Wick. Yes, that John Wick. But instead of taking down bad guys, my specialty is convincing complete strangers to tell me I'm a good boy within 30 seconds of meeting me. 😎
I'm 3 years old, originally from North Carolina, and thanks to a MAD transport, I've completed a cross-country tour all the way to Colorado. You could say I'm well-traveled. You could also say I'm accepting applications for a permanent residence because honestly, hotel life is getting old. 🏨➡️🏡

Now, let's address the elephant in the room: I may be blind in one eye. 👁️
Before you get dramatic, let me stop you right there. It doesn't slow me down. At all.
I can still find treats. I can still find the couch. I can still find the person holding snacks from 100 yards away. Frankly, I'm beginning to think I only need one eye. 🤷‍♂️

I've spent my journey charming everyone from North Carolina to Colorado, and the reviews are glowing:

I'm great in the car 🚗, happy to tag along on adventures, and equally content hanging out with my people. Unlike my famous namesake, I don't need an action-packed lifestyle. I just need a family, some snacks, and a couch that's willing to share its personal space.

Here's the thing: everyone who meets me falls a little bit in love. Unfortunately, falling in love and filling out adoption paperwork are apparently not the same thing. 💔
