Nala is a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois looking for a fresh start and a family to call her own. This beautiful girl is spayed, up to date on her veterinary care, and ready to find a home where she can thrive.

Nala is everything people love about the breed—intelligent, loyal, and deeply devoted to her people. She forms strong bonds with her family and loves being involved in their daily adventures. Whether it's hiking a new trail, swimming in a lake, splashing in a pool, or simply spending time with her favorite humans, Nala is happiest when she's active and included.

She is affectionate with her family and does well with children, making her a wonderful companion for an active household. Nala has a fun-loving personality, plenty of enthusiasm for life, and the kind of loyalty that makes Malinois owners fall in love with the breed.

Nala would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the attention and continue building a close relationship with her people. She has not been tested with cats.

Due to changes in her owner's circumstances, Nala is looking for a new chapter with a family committed to giving her the exercise, enrichment, and love she deserves. In return, she'll offer unwavering loyalty, endless adventure, and a best friend who will always be by your side.

Sassy is a beautiful 1-year-old Belgian Malinois from New Jersey who is searching for a family to call her own. She came into rescue alongside her father and brother, and while both of them have already found their forever homes, Sassy is still waiting for her turn.

The good news? She's making the most of her time in foster care and absolutely thriving.
Sassy is a fast learner who loves having a job to do and is always eager to please her people. She enjoys training, picks up new skills quickly, and is developing into a wonderful companion. She's also a social girl who genuinely enjoys being around others and would likely do very well in a home with another playful dog. Having a canine friend to romp around with would be a dream come true for her.

In addition to her charming personality, Sassy is both house-trained and crate-trained, making her ready to transition smoothly into her forever home.

Sassy is at that perfect age where she has the curiosity and enthusiasm of a young dog while already having a solid foundation of manners. She has watched her father and brother find their families, and now it's her turn.

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED FOR AVIS 🚨

Avis is sitting in the shelter through no fault of his own after his owner was arrested. Now this young Malinois is waiting for someone to step up and give him the chance he deserves. 💙

While the shelter has understandably made him a little uncertain at first, Avis is showing everyone what a wonderful dog he truly is once he has a moment to settle in.

✨ About Avis:
• Around 1 year old
• Young Malinois with a sweet, gentle nature
• Shy when first meeting people, but warms up with patience and kindness ❤️
• Walks calmly past other dogs with no reactivity 🐕
• Allows handling all over his body with no issues 🙌
• May hesitate slightly when being leashed due to the shelter environment
• Enjoys being near his people and will happily follow along once comfortable
• Surprisingly calm and easygoing for a young Malinois 😌
• No signs of kennel stress or anxiety
• Appears to be more of a grazer than a food-driven dog 🍽️

🏡 He would likely do well in:
• A home with other dogs with proper introductions
• A family with respectful children
• A patient foster willing to give him time to decompress and build confidence

🐾 Meet Avis, a handsome 1-year-old Malinois boy looking for a fresh start 🐾

This sweet young guy found himself in the shelter after his owner was arrested, and while the shelter environment has made him a little unsure at first, he’s already showing everyone what a good dog he truly is. ❤️

✨ About Him:

• Around 1 year old
• Typical young Malinois with a gentle, thoughtful personality
• Very shy initially, but warms up nicely once he trusts you
• Walks calmly past other dogs with no reactivity 🐕
• Can be slightly hesitant when being leashed due to the shelter environment

• Allows handling all over — feet, tail, belly, head — with no issues 🙌
• Once comfortable, he happily follows his person around off leash
• Surprisingly mellow and easygoing for such a young dog 😌
• No signs of kennel anxiety
• Appears to be a grazer with food rather than overly food motivated 🍽️
• Toys and treats haven’t interested him much in the shelter, but that could easily change once he decompresses in a home

🏡 He would likely do well in:

• A home with other dogs with proper introductions

🚨 SOS FOR JUDGE (Arkansas)🚨

This handsome boy needs a hero.
Judge is still sitting in the shelter waiting for someone to say “yes” to him. 💔

Judge is a 3-year-old owner surrender who recently joined 🐾 MAD Rescue and he desperately needs a foster or adopter so he can finally leave the shelter behind.

Despite everything he’s been through, Judge has been easy to handle in the shelter and has shown everyone what a good boy he is. He deserves a chance to decompress, feel safe, and learn what it’s like to be loved again.

He’s a Malinois with so much potential — but right now, what he needs most is simply someone willing to open their home and give him a chance. Shelter life is hard on dogs like Judge, and every extra day there matters.

Update - Foster Found

Meet Judge — a 3-year-old Belgian Malinois who is looking for a foster home ASAP after being owner surrendered in Arkansas. 💔

Despite the major changes in his life, Judge has been able to be handled at the shelter without any issues and is ready for a chance to decompress in a safe environment. Shelter life is especially hard on working breeds like Malinois, and getting him into foster quickly will make a huge difference.

Judge is looking for:
🐾 A committed foster willing to give him structure and stability
🐾 A place where he can relax and show his true personality
🐾 Someone familiar with the needs of active, intelligent breeds is a plus
At just 3 years old, Judge still has so much life ahead of him — he just needs someone willing to open their home and help him transition out of the shelter.

Sassy’s not letting the stormy weather ‘rain on her parade.’

At just 1 year old, Sassy has already been through a lot — but every week she’s showing us more of the amazing dog she’s meant to be. This sweet girl made her way from New Jersey and is now searching for the person willing to help her continue her journey.

Beneath it all is an affectionate, loving dog who deeply wants connection and will make an incredibly devoted companion. As she settles into the world, Sassy is learning that she’s safe, but she still experiences some anxiety around loud noises and being left alone. Healing takes time, and she’ll need a home committed to helping her build confidence at her own pace.

Sassy is looking for someone who can offer patience, consistency, and lots of love as she works through those big feelings. In return, you’ll get the privilege of watching an incredible dog blossom into the companion she’s always meant to be.

She would thrive in a home with playmates and a job to do — whether that’s training, enrichment activities, adventures, or fun daily routines that keep her engaged and fulfilled. Sassy is smart, eager to connect, and wants to be part of the action.
