Shooting Sports practice is tonight in the Little Crow Archery Building (Poultry Barn) on the fairgrounds! Practice starts at 6:30 p.m. and will go until about 8:30 p.m. Hope to see you there!!

Shooting Sports practice start next week! Our kick off practice is ideal for those who are new to the Shooting Sports & Wildlife program (1st and 2nd years). It's a great time to come and learn what Shooting Sports is, ask questions, and meet other new families!

We hope you are able to join us on January 15th!

** Regular winter practices will start the following Thursday, January 22nd.

🌲 Earn Money Collecting Tree Seeds & Cones! 🌲

The Minnesota DNR is looking for people to collect native tree seeds and cones this fall and winter to help reforest thousands of acres across the state. Collectors are paid for high-quality cones from native species!

📞 Contact your local DNR Forestry office before collecting to confirm what’s needed and arrange drop-off. (Yard trees aren’t recommended.)

Get ready to explore the amazing world of wildlife right outside your door! Join us every Wednesday evening for a fun and interactive virtual series, where we dive into the fascinating lives of animals and plants with the help of wildlife experts, biologists and Master Naturalists.

Each week, you'll discover something new and inspiring about nature — from secret animal behaviors to incredible ecosystems — all while learning how to protect and respect the environment around us.

Sessions will be held virtually, 7-8 p.m., on the following Wednesdays: Dec. 3, 10 and 17; Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28; Feb. 4, 11 and 25; March 4, 11, 18 and 25; and April 1 and 8.

4-H youth can earn up to four virtual hours of wildlife for the 4-H Shooting Sports and Wildlife program.
