❗️🏀BASKETBALL COACHES WANTED🏀❗️
We’ve started planning for our 2026-27 season and are looking for coaches for our 3rd-8th grade boys and girls teams.

🏀2026-27 HYBA Season Player Registration NOW OPEN‼️
▪️Who: 3rd-8th grade boys & girls who live in Hutchinson and/or attend Hutchinson Schools
▪️Season starts in early Nov and runs through Feb/early March with two practices per week.
⭐️3rd-4th grades are guaranteed 5 tournaments; 5th-8th grades are guaranteed 7 tournaments.
⏳Registration Deadline: July 31st
⛹️Tryouts (if needed): early August

Hested Hoops, led by Brett Hested (TDSE Certified, 10+ years developing players across
Minnesota), is coming to Hutchinson for a 2-day skills camp focused on real game development, not just cone drills.

🔥Players will work on:
• Shooting
• Ball handling
• Finishing
• Footwork
• Game decision-making

📅 July 29–30
📍 Hutchinson High School West Gym
3rd–5th Grade: 9:30am–12:00pm
6th–8th Grade: 1:00pm–3:30pm
💲 $100 per athlete

☀️🏀2026 Summer Skills & Drills registration is NOW OPEN for current 1st-7th grade boys and girls!
🗓️ This is a self-lead program where players track the minutes they play basketball from the end of May through August on a tracking calendar provided upon registration.
💲15/player
🏆 Award t-shirts given to those who reach at least 1000 minutes. These players will also be announced at a varsity game next season.
⭐️ Off-season work leads to in-season success!

Our HYBA 5th grade girls finished off their season with a 2nd place finish in the MYAS Spring Series tournament in Forest Lake.

We’re dedicated to reinforcing positive influences, self-confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun through the sport of basketball.
