An amazing luncheon with Cathy Miller, the Community Impact Director of United Way here in Huntsville! We also had the opportunity to induct a new member, Christian Shirey! Our next event is April 27, at Cocktails At The View at - see you there!

Every month we host three events for members and prospective members to attend - a luncheon (which happens on the second Tuesday of the month), a social event and a service event.

To find out about these events we make Facebook Events, send a newsletter, post on social and in our Group Me.

We hope that is plenty of communication but want to meet you wherever you are so you don't miss any Rotaract events.

Joanna White from the Apollo Coalition hosted the Rotaract Club for a social last night and it was remarkable. For her to have opened their office, provided snacks and beverages and give us a behind the scenes tour and secret intel of the Mid City properties, we are so thankful! Our next event is the luncheon on Tuesday and hope to see everyone there!

April events for Rotaract of Huntsville!

Starting off next Thursday, we have our social event at Mid City District. Joanna White from the Apollo Coalition has graciously offered to host our club for a social in their office lounge followed by behind-the-scenes tours of the development in the Mid City District.

If you remember from a few months ago, Joanna joined us as the luncheon speaker to explain how the Apollo Coalition, a non-profit development organization impacts the intentional development of the Mid City District.

Next, on the second Tuesday of the month we have our Luncheon featuring Chris Jones and Alexis Wiltfong, the Executive VP and an Environmental Scientist from GTEC, a contracting and development company here in Huntsville.

Last but certainly not least, since it's a bit of a tradition now, Rotaract will be volunteering in various roles at Panoply! Members are already signed up to serve in the face paining from 12-12:45 on Saturday the 25th. You are welcome to join that time slot or choose anything else. Please comment what you are serving, so that other members can join!

One week ago was our annual, capstone service project RYLA. It was an incredible success thanks to all of our Rotaract involvement. Thank you everyone for showing up and helping to inspire a heart of service in the next generation!

RYLA is this weekend! And if you haven't signed up for a time slot yet because you are still unsure what RYLA is we hope this video provides more context.

We need Rotaract volunteers to facilitate the project preparation during the day on Friday as well as have a few spots open for judging.

We have three great events this month, but RYLA is the one we look forward to all year. As our capstone service project in the Rotary District, RYLA is a special opportunity to support youth leadership in our community. A SignUpGenius link will be shared soon for members to volunteer.
