HYP is a non-profit, 501(c) with a goal to increase Huntsville/ Madison county's retention rate of young people in the area by connecting individuals aged 21 to 39 with the community and each other by providing unique, authentic events. In 2005 “Huntsville Young Professionals Inc.” was formed and incorporated as a small, not-for-profit business. After over a decade, HYP is still led by a volunteer

board of directors with no paid staff members. HYP strives to be a quality organization that local and
corporate businesses refer to their new, young professionals. There are no member fees or dues, and many of our events are free to attend. Over 4,500 individuals have chosen to receive our event
newsletter and updates. Our social media presence has doubled in the past three years with nearly 5,000 “likes” on Facebook, and we have a growing following on Instagram and Twitter.

Huntsville Young Professionals will be fundraising to support The United Cerebral Palsy Foundation (UCP) Huntsville’s annual fundraiser: Emerald Evening. This organization supports children and families through therapy services, early intervention, respite, mental health services, and family support programs. Their Emerald Evening in July is their annual fundraiser, helping ensure these services remain accessible to those they serve. They are looking for donations in the form of whiskey or cash! Donations from the Whiskey Drive will be used in the interactive Whiskey Putt activity—creating a fun and engaging way to support the mission.
