Due to the rain this morning, instead of meeting at Horace Mann as scheduled to pray for the school, we met at the church. We kneeled, walked around, and went to the altar to pray for the students, teachers, and principals. We lifted up their needs, and the classes prayed for protection and a special grace as they started the new school year. God knows exactly who they are and the challenges they face every day. We asked that God will help each and every one of them. We also prayed that our church and Worship Service tomorrow may bring glory to God through and through!

Last Sunday marked the return of Youth Group and the welcoming of 6th grade. Then we headed over to Markle Church of Christ for a worship night! If the Lord has been good to you, say: Hallelujah! If God has saved your soul, say: Thank you, Jesus!

We don’t have to pray—we get to pray.
What a powerful reminder from Pastor John Drury! Prayer isn’t a burden or another task on our to-do list it’s a privilege. Because of Jesus, we are invited to come before our Heavenly Father and join in His ongoing work through prayer.
What a gift that Christ continually intercedes for us, and we get to draw near with confidence.

“Jesus is Life; from Genesis to Revelation, He is both the creator, the source, and the sustainer of life!” We are very thankful for Pastor Ron Forsythe, who shared the Word of God with us throughout July. He had great stories and songs! We pray God's blessings on your family and a quick recovery for Rita, his wife, who recently had foot surgery.
God is good all the time!
