Splash Into Water Safety!

Did you know? Drowning is the leading cause of injury-related death for children ages 1–4. The good news is that many drowning incidents are preventable through education, supervision, and water safety practices.

Join Sprout by 5 and our community partners for a FREE Water Safety Family Night.

We’re looking for infant, toddler, and young preschool educators (ages 0–3) to join a FREE 6-month coaching cohort where you’ll receive individualized coaching, in-class support, observations, professional learning, and access to E-DECA—all designed to help you thrive.

Research consistently shows that coaching is one of the most effective forms of professional development because it’s ongoing, individualized, and embedded in real classroom experiences. Sprout by 5 is excited to partner with IRIS Family Support Center, United Way of Huntington County, and the Parkview Huntington Family YMCA to offer the nationally recognized Safe Sitter® Class for students in grades 5–8!
This hands-on course prepares children to stay safe when they're home alone, care for younger siblings, or begin babysitting. Participants will learn:
✨ Childcare essentials
🩹 Basic first aid and choking rescue
🚨 Safety and emergency response
💬 Behavior management
💼 Babysitting business tips
Choose the class option that works best for your family:
📅 Option 1: August 11, 13, 18 & 20 | 3:00–4:30 PM
