Still needing help to get the Care Center floors finished. Hoping to get the middle room done this Wednesday or Thursday, but need volunteers. Have a crew coming on Saturday to get the front room done. Hopefully kitties can come out and run free again by the end of next weekend.

Time for a fundraiser post. There's a few things we are really low on and with the latest intake of the momma and 5 kittens and the 4 seniors that will be coming down we could definitely use the help (we were full Before these 9, so...)
Always need squishy food, I can't believe how much of that stuff these little fuzz butts can eat. Could really use paper towels, disinfectant wipes, disinfectant spray (we're needing to deep clean Every kennel and litter box and dishes, etc. Time to pull all the fans, coolers, and stuff and start winterizing (looking forward to Those power and Gas bills !) Litter is always needed as well. I'm ordering another pallet of wood pellets today and paying 150.00 on the last pallet that isn't paid off yet. There's our largest expense we need help with as well, veterinary services. We are currently at 675.00 owed on the account (just paid 400.00 a week or so ago from Quilt ticket sales), speaking of which, we will be drawing the winner on the 31st on a live post from the Care Center. Have an Emergency going in today at 11:20 with one of the CH kitties (Brucey goosie) Bruce not being able to p*e, but trying like hell, all day yesterday. You can donate directly to our account at Castle Country Vet in Price and every penny goes to the Care of our 50 + homeless, injured, scared, abused, abandoned and deserving kitties. We still, Desperately, need help with tearing up and replacing the carpeted floors in the Care Center as well. All the cats are just about finished with their ringworm treatment and have been confined to their apartments (kennels) for a few weeks. We are not sure how or where or which cat brought it in but are not taking any chances and are needing to replace almost everything to insure it is delt with fully. This little incident has cost us a TON and with the incredible generosity of a few supporters we have all the materials needed to get it done.

I apologize for being kinda absent the last two weeks or so. It's been incredibly overwhelming and there were a few things going on we couldn't go into. I will be attempting to remedy that later today and have a few important posts to get through. I've decided to try to do video posts from now on because it's just to time consuming for me to sit down and try typing everything out. I feel video posts are a little more personal and Much quicker. We are still in desperate need of volunteers to help with getting the flooring completed. The cats will be finished with their treatment in about 2 weeks and are itching to be able to come out of their apartments and run wild !

This beautiful girl came in 3 days ago from East Carbon area. Friendly (now, sure wasn't the first day !), no ear tip, no chip, appears to be (im assuming) not fixed. (Pretty had to tell for sure on a female cat that isn't happy about being handled to much). Anyway, this serves as the beginning of the 5 day stray hold, after which she will be taken into Castle Country Vet for exam, spay. Vaccinations, and chip.
