It is with great sadness that we pass along the news that Kay Fullen, a long time Supporter at Supporting Paws, has passed away.
Kay had participated in multiple classes including Obedience, Canine Good Citizen and Agility For Fun, with her dog, Apollo.
The following is the post and picture that her husband, Richard Norford, shared on Facebook...
It is with a very heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved wife, Kay Fullen.
Kay passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, July 23, 2026. Her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer has come to an end.
As so many of you know, Kay was the rock of our family and a guiding light to all who knew her. Her kindness, strength, wisdom, and unwavering love touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A full obituary and additional details will be shared shortly.
In the meantime, I want to let you know that a Celebration of Kay’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Five Senses Garden along the Capital Area Greenbelt in Harrisburg. The service will be led by our dear friend, former HACC President Dr. Ski, and will celebrate the remarkable life of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and Master Gardener.
In keeping with Kay’s love of nature and gardens, the ceremony will conclude with the release of live butterflies.
Thank you to everyone who has surrounded our family with your prayers, love, and support during this difficult journey. Your kindness has meant more than words can express.
