From CCC&TI to ECU, Chanz Redick is making an impact in the world of cybersecurity and technology! Check out our latest alumni spotlight.
After graduating from CCC&TI in 2025 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Information Technology and Cybersecurity, Chanz transferred to East Carolina University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Information and Cybersecurity Technology.
During his time at CCC&TI, Chanz focused on developing his technical and professional skills by getting involved in cybersecurity labs, certifications, and collaborative projects. Chanz has continued to excel at ECU, where he works as a Student Computer Lab Technician and serves as a System Engineering Research Assistant. He was also recently named President of the Association of Information Systems (AIS). In his free time, he likes building home lab environments, playing pickleball, working out, and strengthening his skills in networking, virtualization, and security operations through technical projects.
Chanz’s advice to current CCC&TI students is to “take advantage of every opportunity available to you, especially hands-on experience, networking, and certifications. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, take risks, build projects outside of class, and connect with instructors and professionals in your field. Those experiences can open doors you may not expect.”
We are proud to have you in the alumni family, Chanz! Congratulations on all of your success - we can’t wait to see what’s next!
