JOIN US FOR A FESTIVAL OF HOPE AND HEALING

KinderMourn's Hope Floats Duck Race is back on April 28, 2024, at the Whitewater Center! For 20 years, we have brought KinderMourn families and our community together to float hope. This family-friendly event is completely FREE to attend. You can create your own team for free, join a team, adopt ducks, become a sponsor, volunteer, or come as a spectator.

WHY
Our Duck Race brings together families and people of all ages to watch thousands of brave ducks rush through the rapids and share a meaningful afternoon where HOPE FLOATS and their loves ones are honored. When you participate in the Hope Floats Duck Race by creating a team, adopting ducks, or volunteering, you help to provide the resources necessary for KinderMourn to ensure that no child, teen, parent, or family has to grieve alone.

It is back on :-). The 16th Annual Hope Floats Duck Race has gone virtual. Adoptions are still the same. Proceeds go to support KinderMourn in Charlotte NC. Whats different? They will be having weekly events starting in Sept so you can follow on FB and/or Instagram.

Day 10 'Show Love' project
Acknowledge other people’s presence.

It takes little effort, and yet it goes a long way to acknowledge the people you pass by. They are out there in your community, living their lives and doing their job as best they can. You don't know what someone else is battling on the inside and 2 seconds of your time could make all the difference in the world to, wave, nod, smile, love.

Forgive: This will probably be the hardest one yet because it is more for you.
Forgive someone for something they did. It doesn't matter if they realize it or even remember it. Holding on to that angry is only damaging you so let it go. Forgive them!
