I have a prayer request. This week, I am driving Damien to his mother is going into a year long rehab. Damien will be with her after Thursday. I am praying for a safe trip to and from, and mainly for Damien to be able to make a good transition. I am praying for his mother to get through the program and get well. I appreciate your prayers.

Psalm 55:22: "Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved"

This verse touched me this morning. I know I can cast my burdens to the Lord God, so why do I try to hang on to them and try to work things out on my own? Many times it is the enemy trying to break us down.

I love my Study Bibles and how they revel things I didn't see clearly. God wants us to give our burdens to Him, he says so in this Psalm. We (I) continue to bear them ourselves (myself) even when we (I) say we (I) am trusting Him. Trust the same strength that sustains you to carry your cares also.

Trust, give our burdens, He will sustain us...what more do we need to know?

Lord God, Heavenly Father, I give my burdens to you today, I know you will sustain me and you will not let me be moved. I know you are always with me, you hold me tight in not only troubled times, but you also hold me tight when we celebrate victories. I am so very grateful that I know you Lord God, and that you know me and my heart. I thank you and I love you. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
