Last July 23rd, Solidarity Lodge No. 1457 A.F. & A.M. had the privilege of recognizing three outstanding Alief Independent School District students with our annual scholarship awards. Two of the three scholarship recipients were able to attend the ceremony and accept their awards in person.

In addition, each recipient was honored with the Mirabeau B. Lamar Award of Excellence in recognition of their academic achievement and dedication.

Representing Solidarity Lodge at the ceremony were Worshipful Master John Karingal Calayag and Junior Past Master Stephen Aganan

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Alief ISD Education Foundation for facilitating the scholarship application process and to its Board for their hard work and commitment to supporting student success.

We were also pleased to have Walter M. Pierson Lodge No. 1339 A.F. & A.M. join us for a photo with their scholarship recipients, making the evening even more meaningful.

Congratulations to all of this year’s scholars and their parents! We wish you continued success in their educational journey.

On Saturday, July 18, Solidarity Lodge No. 1457 A.F. & A.M. proudly installed its officers for the 2026–2027 Masonic year.

Congratulations to our newly installed Worshipful Master, John Karingal Calayag, and to all of the officers who have accepted the responsibility of serving our Lodge. May the year ahead be marked by faithful service, strong leadership, and continued growth for our Brotherhood.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Brethren, family members, and guests who joined us to celebrate this important occasion. Your presence made the day even more meaningful.

As one Masonic year comes to a close and another begins, we look forward to continuing the work of building a stronger Lodge, serving our community, and living the principles of Freemasonry together.

On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Brethren of Solidarity Lodge No. 1457 A.F. & A.M. had the privilege of attending the Installation of Officers of Templar Chapter, Order of DeMolay.

During the ceremony, Worshipful Master Stephen Aganan presented a $500 donation to the Chapter on behalf of the Brethren of Solidarity Lodge in support of its programs and its mission of developing young men into better leaders, citizens, and maybe some day future Masons.

Congratulations, and best wishes for a productive year ahead!
